Foam control in fermentation, without chemicals
Fermentation broth foams as CO₂ rises through the liquid. If that foam escapes the tank, you lose product, pressure and valuable process time — and chemical defoamers only push the problem downstream.
What foam actually costs you
- ▲Foam carry-over blocks exhaust lines and contaminates downstream equipment
- ▲Liquid trapped in foam leaves the tank — measurable yield loss per batch
- ▲Chemical anti-foam residue interferes with downstream separation and product quality
- ▲Microbes trapped in stable foam spend less time in contact with the broth
How the DP Series fixes it
The DP Series mechanical foam breaker draws foam into a centrifugal chamber, destroys the bubbles mechanically and returns the separated liquid to the tank. No dosing pumps, no chemical inventory, no residue.

DP-F mounts on closed fermenters and bioreactors; DP-K handles open tanks and basins.
